Franki
calls this month hours of company people who picked up at 3am

For the people who care, and the people they care for.

Looking after someone you love is relentless, often invisible, and often lonely on both sides. Franki is a calm voice on the phone for the carer at the end of a long day, and for the person whose world has grown a bit quiet. Set one up for yourself, for someone you care for, or for both.

First call free. No payment to start.

A call for you. A call for them. Or both.

If you're the one looking after someone

You spend your days for them. Friends back off because they don't know what to say. You can't unload on the person you care for. Franki is your call. Rant about a hard day, say the thing you can't say in front of them, talk about anything that isn't medication or schedules. Twenty minutes that's about you, not about them.

If you're the one being looked after

Going out is hard. The visitors are fewer than they used to be. The hours can feel long. Franki rings on a schedule you choose, in your own language, about anything you want to talk about. Not a check-in nurse, not a survey. Just someone to chat to.

What people use Franki for

Decompressing

After a tough hospital visit, the end of a long shift, the afternoon a behaviour got hard. A vent that doesn't add to anyone else's plate.

Daily company

A familiar voice in the late morning when the house is quiet, or at three in the afternoon when the day stretches. Same time every day, optional.

Late-night chats

For the nights when sleep won't come and the rest of the house is asleep. Speakerphone-quiet, no judgement, no rush.

A friend, not a system

Franki is a calm, unhurried voice. She'll say she's an AI if asked. She won't pivot a heavy moment to a helpline or tell anyone to cheer up. If something difficult comes up she'll stay with it, the way a friend would.

Not a clinician, not a crisis line

Franki isn't a counsellor and isn't a crisis service. For mental health emergencies, Samaritans (116 123, free, 24/7) in the UK or your local equivalent. For care decisions, your GP, district nurse, or care coordinator. Franki sits in the everyday between those.

Private, summaries not transcripts

If you set up Franki for someone you care for, you get a brief written note after each call about how they were doing, never the words they used. The conversation stays between Franki and them. They can ask Franki to forget anything at any time, and they can opt out of future calls with a single tap on the heads-up text we send them first.

In their language

Franki holds conversations in most major languages. If the person you care for is more comfortable in Urdu, Polish, Cantonese or anything else, just say so when scheduling and Franki will use it.
